Detailed Care & Maintenance Instructions
We want you to always be as proud of our furniture as we are. While our product line is extremely durable, sometimes accidents happen which may result in stains, scratches, chips or cracks. Therefore, we would like to show you how to do a simple paint touch-up as well as a damaged surface repair. Here's how:
- First, clean the surface with a 100% cotton cloth and mild cleanser. Let dry thoroughly.
- Lightly sand the area to be repaired with #350 or finer. Oftentimes, this step eliminates the problem without further effort.
- If the problem remains visible, use a piece of foam and gently dab on some of the base coat color
let that dry.
- Use a clean, flat piece of scrap board on which to pour a small amount of top coat paint.
- Lightly did your natural sea sponge into the paint and apply to the surface with a light, dabbing motion. Let dry. Your furniture should now be ready for placement in the home or showroom.
Sometimes, more serious damage may occur which requires an additional step in the repair process. If surface is damaged:
- Repeat the above process of cleaning and sanding.
- Next, rub a small amount of our stone texture compound into the damaged area and smooth out with your fingers. Let it dry to the touch. Depending on your climate, drying should take between one and ten hours. Sand lightly.
- Finish the repair process, as above, by using the foam and the natural sea sponge to apply both paint colors. Let dry.
